GUITARO's sound on JJ's Crystal Palace has matured from the raw heavy shoegaze of 2002's Futura Black. On this second full-length release, GUITARO adds a bit of disco rock to the mix. Lush boy/girl harmonies, walls-of-guitar and '80s synth sensibilities crystalize to make this record shine.

GUITARO - a rock, pop, shoegaze trio based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Formed in 1997, GUITARO's previous work includes: Futura Black (2002), Rainbow Brain (2004) - a track recorded for UK shoegaze label Club AC30, and tracks from an unreleased 1998 EP, now available on YouTube. Futura Black has just been re-released on vinyl by Memphis based label, We Made Records. GUITARO is Mark Wiebe, Jeremy Unrau and Heather Warkentin.
